Job Description:
General responsibilities include test planning, test case preparation, test execution, defect reporting, test status reporting, working with team to correct problems or resolve issues.
The testers MUST HAVE experience testing JAVA & Oracle applications.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Verification of system functionality through the creation and execution of test cases, test scripts and user acceptance tests
- Knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile
- Ability to perform analysis of documented requirements and features and accurately translate them into test cases
- Status reporting to the project manager and project team of tests executed, defects open, defects closed, test remaining to be executed
Key competencies of this role include:
- High communication skills both verbal and written
- Detail oriented
- Ability to forge and sustain relationships with project team members
