Job Title: SAN Storage System Administrator

Location: Washington, DC

Rate: DOE

Duration: 4+ Months

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

This position will provide day-to-day Distributed Storage Management support, including the following:

 

• SAN Administration: configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting Brocade-based fabric

·          Storage Administration: configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting storage hardware:

• Disk: IBM 2105, 2107, DS4000, EMC Symmetrix, Clariion CX600
• Tape: IBM 3584, LTO-2
• Virtual Tape: EMC CDL740, CDL4200

·          Disaster Recovery support:

• Expertise in administration of Tivoli Storage Manager
• Configuration, day-to-day administration, troubleshooting including interfacing with vendors
• Familiarity with other DR concepts including: Electronic Vaulting and Disaster simulation
• Tools: ECC, Flash Copy, TPC
• Familiarity with UNIX (AIX) and Windows administration , including scripting. Familiarity with VMWare also necessary
