We have an immediate opening for  Application Developer Java / Python  with our client details are:-

 

Job Title: Application Developer Java / Python

Duration: 12 months position

Location: Cary, NC

 

Project description: Responsible for the implementation, test and customer site startup of control, information and automation system working in a project team environment under the direction of senior engineering personnel. Develops and documents code, according to the development process, that satisfies the software design. Develops and executes thorough unit test plans. Participates in reviews of documents, designs, code, test cases and user documentation. Provides work estimates and status reports to the technical lead and Project Manager, as requested. Maintains adequate interaction to ensure assigned tasks are prioritized appropriately. Identifies and participates in technical and developmental training ok

 

Required skills: Minimum Qualifications:

Working knowledge of relational databases / SQL

 Proficient with Object Oriented Technology (analysis, design and development). Working knowledge and hands-on experience with object oriented programming, using C++ and/or Java.

Evidence of working with complex class structures.

Understanding of client/server architectures and web application environments.

 

 Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle PL/SQL.

Hands-on experience and familiarity with structures and practices used in graphical user interfaces.

Understanding of the use of ERP systems.

 Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, sockets)

Hands on experience with scripting languages, such as Perl, Python.

Experience with HTML, JavaScript, J2EE, JDBC, Apache.

Strong communication skills.

 

Nice to have skills: 3-7 years in development or support of manufacturing applications (for FDA regulated environments is a plus)
